Colleen M. Fay, MD

Dr. Fay is a native of northern New Jersey and received her summa cum laude undergraduate degree at Rutgers University. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1984 where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Fay completed her orthopedic residency at New York University. This was followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania under the direction of Joseph Torg MD, one of the pioneers of sports medicine.
Dr. Fay has been in practice in White Plains since 1990. She is currently the Chief of Orthopedics at White Plains Hospital Medical Center and is a staff member of the Westchester Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Fay is a Clinical Assistant Professor of orthopedics at NYU School of Medicine and is actively involved in teaching orthopedic residents in the clinics and the operating room.
Dr. Fay is a member of the American Society of Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the FORUM group, an international group of female health professionals specializing in the treatment of sports injuries. She is a honorary police surgeon for the New York City Police Department and has served as medical director for the LPGA tournament in Westchester and school physician for the White Plains school district.
Dr. Fay specializes in the treatment of sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery and has a special interest in ACL injuries and women’s sports issues. Dr. Fay enjoys golfing and rollerblading and is a football and basketball enthusiast.
